"In III International festival of noncommercial the Internet-projects have taken part more than two thousand participants from 70 countries. Winners in 16 nominations of festival became most worthy of them. On conditions of competition of jury in a greater degree estimated the social importance of projects, than their characteristics. Solemn rewarding of winners took place on March, 25th, 2006

The final program of International festival of noncommercial Internet-projects involved a significant event, that is the 10th Russian Internet Forum (RIF). In cooperation with RIF organizers Webmaster's Union of Russia conducted " Region's Days of Russia" where RIF-marathon through Russian regions was started.

Within the three years about 100 000 people from 40 countries participated in the events of the Festival that attracted attention of the general public and the government to noncommercial socially significant Internet-projects. A great number of new contests that give a notable consideration to noncommercial Internet resources appeared in Russia in 2004-2005. For the purpose of the Internet community integration the International Festival of Noncommercial Internet Projects became a part of national "Runet Prize". In April 2006, the rights for its holding were delegated by Webmaster's Union of Russia to ROCIT that is acting as the Prize secretariat."
